The GALSF serves as a unique platform, bringing together Legal Services Committees and Legal Aid Clinics from universities across India. With the theme Artificial Intelligence for Access to Justice, the 7th edition of GALSF focuses on advancing access to justice through the integration of AI technologies while supporting legal aid mechanisms, streamlining processes, and empowering marginalized communities.

Highlights

1. GNLU Legal Aid Grant Presentation

The Grant Presentations will explore how technological advancement, particularly AI-enabled tools, is reshaping the justice delivery system. Participants will showcase empirical research assessing the legal accessibility, procedural efficiency, digital literacy, and the functioning of legal aid mechanisms. They will present data-driven insights and implementation strategies aimed at strengthening legal support systems, enhancing court and ADR processes, and improving public-facing legal issues.

2.  Legislative Drafting Workshop

A one-day intensive workshop conducted by distinguished Parliamentarians and experts in legislative drafting. It is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to the art of drafting effective and implementable legislation. This will be a paid certificate course, offering participants a rare opportunity to learn directly from experienced lawmakers and practitioners.

3. Round Table Conference

This forum serves as a confluence for Legal Aid Clinics (LACs) and Legal Services Committees (LSCs) across the nation to engage in meaningful dialogue, share innovative practices, and collectively advance the mission of access to justice. All participants and faculty convenors of the Legal Aid Clinics (LACs) and Legal Services Committees (LSCs) are invited to join this discussion round.
