Job Summary

The role focuses on providing legal and regulatory advisory, ensuring compliance, supporting business and distribution teams, managing contracts, and strengthening governance and data privacy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on the Insurance Act, IRDAI regulations, Contract Act, Company Law, FEMA, SEBI, RBI, IT Act, and DPDP Act.
• Support business initiatives, partnerships, fintech integrations, and regulatory risk assessment.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts and legal documents.
• Review customer communications, marketing materials, and digital content for legal compliance.
• Assist in regulatory filings, inspections, and responses to IRDAI queries and notices.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance across business operations.
• Support distribution channels and customer journey structuring.
• Coordinate with external counsel and assist in litigation and dispute matters.
• Conduct legal training and awareness sessions for internal teams.
• Contribute to policy updates, SOPs, and governance improvements.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience in the insurance industry
• Strong experience in regulatory and corporate legal matters
• LL.B. (Mandatory)
• LL.M. / Company Secretary (Preferred)
