About the Legal Aid Cell

The Legal Aid Cell of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, established in 2007, functions in furtherance of Article 39A of the Constitution of India and the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.

Since its inception, the Cell has been actively engaged in promoting access to justice for socially and economically disadvantaged communities through legal awareness programmes, legal aid clinics, community outreach initiatives, and pro bono assistance.

About the Event

Vidhikta, conceptualised in 2019, derives its name from the confluence of two words, Vidhik and Sahayta, collectively signifying legal aid. Through the previous three editions, Vidhikta has grown into India’s largest legal aid fest, drawing participation from over fifty institutions and hundreds of students across India.

With the same enthusiasm, we are hosting the 4th edition of Vidhikta by engaging with Law Students, Academicians, Legal Professionals, State and Central Bodies, Civil Services Organizations (CSO), Panchayats, Gram Panchayats, Blocks, PLVs, and the Underserved Children.
