About the Opportunity
Lex Carnival 2026 is the 5th edition of the Amity Law Fest – Juris Trek, scheduled to be held on 9th and 10th February 2026 in Hybrid Mode. Lex Carnival is a multi-event academic and cultural carnival designed to foster knowledge, creativity, and student engagement.
The event provides a platform for students from various institutions to participate, encouraging analytical thinking, legal awareness, teamwork, and expressive skills. Lex Carnival aims to bridge academic learning with practical and creative expression through diverse competitive events.
Events
The following competitions will be conducted as part of Lex Carnival 2026:
1. Skit Competition
Event Theme: Health and Environment
The Skit Competition under LEX Carnival 2026 is a thematic performance-based event focusing on issues related to health and the environment. Through short, dramatized presentations, the competition aims to spread awareness about pressing social, legal, and environmental concerns. It encourages participants to combine creativity with social responsibility while developing teamwork, communication skills, and public engagement.
2. Hit the Buzz
Hit the Buzz is a general quiz competition designed to test participants’ knowledge across diverse fields, including current affairs, history, science, sports, entertainment, and general awareness. The quiz emphasizes quick thinking, teamwork, and presence of mind rather than legal knowledge alone.
3. Judgement Writing Competition
The Judgement Writing Competition is a flagship academic event aimed at fostering judicial reasoning, analytical thinking, and structured legal writing. Participants are required to draft a reasoned judgment based on a given legal proposition, focusing on the interpretation of law and the application of facts.
4. Legal Maxims Bee
Legal Maxims Bee tests participants’ understanding of commonly used legal maxims and their application in law. The competition aims to strengthen foundational legal knowledge and conceptual clarity in an engaging and competitive format.
5. Know Your Role
Know Your Role is a light-hearted yet challenging talent-based event that emphasizes spontaneity, creativity, and confidence. Participants perform tasks or roles assigned on the spot, showcasing adaptability, presence of mind, and performance skills.
Registration Fee
- ₹500 + GST per team/participant (event-specific).
- Amity students are exempt from the registration fee.
Prizes
- Total prizes worth ₹30,000.
- Trophies, medals, certificates, and exclusive gift hampers.
- Certificates of participation for all registered participants.
