About the Role
Intellect Goodwill LLP is hiring a Junior Intellectual Property Associate to join its expanding IP practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining clients’ IP portfolios.
- Handling prosecution, opposition, and enforcement matters related to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs.
- Drafting and filing IP applications (trademark, copyright, design, and patent).
- Preparing prosecution responses, oppositions, rectifications, and other filings before authorities.
- Conducting trademark searches and legal research.
- Appearing before Registrars and Examiners for hearings.
- Drafting pleadings, evidence, legal opinions, and arguments in IP litigation matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP agreements and related legal documentation.
- Managing and organizing legal documents and client correspondence.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. or LL.M. degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience handling end-to-end IP matters (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Design laws.
- Experience with international filings will be an advantage.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and technology systems.
