About Dept of Law, PIMR
Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Indore), is a well-established premier Law School in the state of Madhya Pradesh, which enjoys autonomous status conferred by UGC since 2006. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) and 12 (b).
The Institute has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has received an NAAC “A” Grade by UGC in 2009 and further reaccredited with Grade “A” in 2014, and further with A++ in 2021.
About the Competition
The National Moot Court Society of the Department of Law at Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Indore) is organizing the 6th edition of the Padma Shri Dr. N.N. Jain National Moot Court Competition in 2026.
The National Moot Court Competition is where eloquence meets justice, where students transform into legal eagles, and where the courtroom drama unfolds beyond the pages of textbooks. The competition is organised by a student-led body that administers and stimulates excellence in Mooting and Legal Research activities.
Eligibility
Students of three-year and five-year law degree courses from any University/ Law School/ College/ Department are eligible to apply for registration of their team. However, a maximum of two teams shall be allowed to participate from one University/ Law School/ College/ Department.

Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
How to Register?
The teams interested in participating are required to confirm their participation by sending an email attaching the scanned copy of Annexure-A (Registration form), Annexure-B (Travel and Accommodation details), duly filled, to mootcourt@pimrindore.ac.in stating the subject “Registration for National Moot Court Competition” and by submitting the Google form latest by 5th March, 2026.
Fee
The registration fees for the competition are as follows
- With Accommodation- Rs. 8,700/-
- Without Accommodation- Rs. 5,200/-

- Winning Team Rs. 40,000/-
- Runner-Up Team Rs. 25,000/-
- Best Written Submission/Memorial Rs. 8000/-
- Best Speaker Rs. 7500/-
