The Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih is inviting applications from law students for an internship. Applicants are advised to carefully read the following guidelines before applying.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year law course or in the final year of a 3-year law course. This requirement may be relaxed if the candidate can demonstrate strong legal knowledge, relevant experience, and necessary skills.
- Candidates must have completed at least one internship at a Trial Court and one at any High Court in India. Preference will be given to applicants with prior judicial internship experience.
Important Instructions
- Submission of the application form or acknowledgement of receipt does not guarantee selection for the internship. Final confirmation will be subject to review by the competent authority.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and assessed based on their legal knowledge, communication skills, and overall conduct. Failure to respond may lead to cancellation of the application.
- Selected candidates will generally be informed 3–4 weeks before the internship start date and must confirm their acceptance at least two weeks prior to joining. However, in case of last-minute vacancies or cancellations, shortlisted candidates may be contacted up to one week before the start date.
- Interns must arrange their own accommodation, travel, and boarding.
- This internship is unpaid and does not provide any remuneration.
