About Lok Jagruti Kendra

Lok Jagruti Kendra (LJK) is a charitable trust and registered society founded in 1980 by eminent academicians, professionals, and distinguished personalities drawn from across the society. LJ stands for ‘Lok’(i.e., people) and ‘Jagruti (i.e., awareness), and the vision of the Trust has been to become a key player in the field of education and social development by promoting and nurturing creativity, scholarship, innovation,s and excellence through a chain of quality institutes.

About LJ School of Law

The Lok Jagruti Kendra’s idea behind starting the school of Law is not just to produce degree holders in law but to produce Lawyers who would practice in courts of law. Besides full-time faculty, the institute has plans for large-scale involvement of eminent lawyers practicing in local courts, high courts, and the Supreme Court. The institute also proposes to introduce a pedagogical innovation -“Lawyer on wheels”- under which the students will go to interior villages for creating legal awareness as well as for providing legal help to the socially and economically backward classes. The institute will provide a unique learning experience to the students.

About Vidhwata 7.0 – 2026

‘Vidhwata’ is a law fest hosted and organized by L J School of Law. It is a platform where law students can explore their legal understanding acquired through studies within the classroom and step towards conquering the world with the immense knowledge they possess.

It provides an ideal setting for the students of various colleges to showcase their legal talents. It endeavors to bring together the creativity and intellect of youth.

LJSL has put forward ‘Vidhwata’ with the strong belief that every individual has immense potential; we just need to unleash it, and hence, here we are with a combination of events where students can showcase a bunch of skills possessed by them and very much needed to be an eminent lawyer. Journey towards being a legend can be the best with the guidance of path makers who themselves are leading in their respective fields now, and ‘Vidhwata’ is a platform where the talent of
Budding lawyers will be judged by legal Luminaries, Judges of the Supreme Court and high courts, senior advocates, and members of the fraternity.

Vidhwata is a tribute to our respected and beloved Director of LJSL, Late Sr. Adv. Shri Girish Patel Si,r who has always inspired thousands of lives through his immense legal knowledge and worked towards the upliftment of the underprivileged. This isan extension of the six successful hosting of National Law Fest ‘Vidhwata’ where we received an overwhelming response through enthusiastic participation from across the Nation.

About the Competitions

‘Vidhwata 7.0 – 2026’ is the flagship national law fest of L.J. School of Law, designed in fond memories of the former director of LJ School of Law, Sr. Adv. Shri Girish Patel. It is a platform for law students to apply and showcase the legal knowledge they gain in the classroom. The fest encourages students from across the country to demonstrate their advocacy, analytical, drafting, and debating skills.

The event is built on the belief that every student carries immense potential that can be unlocked through the right opportunities. Vidhwata provides that opportunity through a series of thoughtfully curated competitions that reflect essential skills required of an emerging lawyer.

Participants will be judged by eminent legal personalities, including Seating and retired Honourable judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts, senior advocates, and distinguished members of the legal fraternity, ensuring a truly enriching and inspiring experience.

Following six highly successful editions with enthusiastic participation from across India, Vidhwata 7.0 – 2026 continues this legacy with a strong focus on non-conventional and practical learning methods.
This edition features core competitions such as:

  • Moot Court – emphasising both written memorials and oral advocacy
  • Parliamentary Debate – testing logic, argumentation, and legislative understanding
  • Client Counselling – assessing, interviewing, advisory, and interpersonal skills

Eligibility

  • Moot Court – Students from any Law College. All participants must be students of 3-year/5-year Law course.
  • Parliamentary Debate – Students from any School/ College/ University (Under-graduate or Post-graduate -Law / Non-Law).
  • Client Counselling – Students from any Law College. All participants must be students of 3-year/5-year Law course.
