About the Opportunity
National Law University Jodhpur is inviting applications for a contractual Research Associate position with its Centre for Family Law.
The Centre for Family Law is conducting a research project titled “Assessing the Efficacy of Family Courts: A Case Study from Rajasthan”. The study evaluates the functioning of Family Courts in Rajasthan through fieldwork in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Alwar.
The project examines court infrastructure, delays, and counselling support, with the objective of recommending practical legal and policy reforms. The duration of the position is two months. If extended, the engagement will not exceed three months.
Mode
The position is remote, subject to physical presence if required.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for data analysis, report writing, publication assistance, and coordination with stakeholders.
Eligibility
- LL.M. in Law or an allied subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Strong research skills, including qualitative analysis. Familiarity with NVivo is preferred.
- Excellent academic writing skills. Prior publications are preferred.
- Prior engagement in a research project is preferred.
Stipend
The selected candidate will receive a stipend of ₹40,000 per month, subject to completion of the work.
