About the Event
The National Reel Making and Essay Writing Competition 2026, themed “Act Green, Live Clean”, invites students from across India to explore contemporary environmental issues creatively and academically.
The competition combines digital storytelling and legal writing to promote research, advocacy, and sustainability awareness. The Centre organises it for Research in Environmental Law and Sustainability (CRELS), School of Law, Galgotias University. It is open to students of any stream at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Eligibility
- Reel Making Competition: Open to students of any stream (UG/PG); individual or team participation (maximum 2 members).
- Essay Writing Competition: Open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law Students only; individual participation only (co-authorship not permitted).

Essay Writing Competition:

- All Participants: Participation E-Certificate
- The top 2 essays will receive a publication opportunity.

Fees
Participation Fee: ₹150 per entry (non-refundable). Payment must be made before completing the registration form. Registration is considered complete only after successful payment confirmation.
