Jindal School of Government and Public Policy new initiative Policy Research Lab (PRL) aims to provide non-partisan facts that would help in creating more informed public opinion and enhance appropriate decision-making for our fellow citizens at large.
About the Opportunity
The Jindal Policy Research Lab (JPRL) is inviting applications for its upcoming 6-month remote internship cycle.
This internship offers structured academic mentorship and hands-on engagement in policy research, analytical writing, and infographic development, enabling participants to contribute meaningfully to evidence-based policy discourse.
Selected interns will contribute to policy briefs, develop research skills, and have the opportunity to see their work published on the official JPRL website.
Timeline
- Applications open: 25th August– 7th September 2026
- Interview: 14-16th September 2026
Roles and Responsibilities
- Submission of 2 Policy Briefs per week
- Each Policy Brief must include a well-designed infographic
- Strict adherence to Policy Lab research, citation, and formatting standards
- Timely submissions and responsiveness to editorial feedback
Eligibility Criteria
- Research and writing aptitude
- Interest in public policy and governance
- Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback
- Basic proficiency in data visualization or design tools (preferred)
