About Olympian Laxmikant Pandey Trust
The Olympian Laxmikant Pandey Trust was established in 2020 in the name and memory of the late Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey by his younger son, Kapil Narayan Pandey.
The Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting social well-being and contributing to the overall development of society. It seeks to organize and support social, educational, cultural, and community-oriented initiatives.
The Trust aims to carry forward the values and legacy of the late Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey by serving the community and encouraging positive social development.
About Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey
Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey was born in Koiripur Village, District Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He represented India in wrestling at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games and won a medal at the 1956 National Wrestling Championship held at Patiala.
He also won the Silver Medal at the 1958 Commonwealth Games in Cardiff and the Bronze Medal at the 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta.
Through his achievements at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and national level, Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey made a distinguished contribution to Indian wrestling and the sporting legacy of Uttar Pradesh.

The Olympian Lakshmikant Pandey Trust Quiz Competition 2026 is an online knowledge-based competition designed to test participants’ knowledge of current affairs and static general knowledge.
The competition will consist of 75 questions to be attempted within 35 minutes.
