About the Competition
The UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports, National Law University Delhi, is organizing the National Article Writing Competition on Clean & Safe Sports on the theme:
“Governing Clean & Safe Sports: Ethics and Emerging Challenges”.

- Anti-doping law & criminalisation of doping (NADA Act, 2022)
- Athlete rights & due process before CAS/domestic tribunals
- National Sports Governance Act, 2025
- IP in Sports – broadcasting, personality rights, sponsorship
- AI in officiating, e-sports regulation, NFTs in sports
- Comparative/TWAIL perspectives & the Global South in WADA/CAS
Eligibility
- UG & PG law students
- Early-career researchers, academicians, lawyers
- Co-authorship allowed
Submission Guidelines
- Word limit: 3,000–5,000 (excluding footnotes)
- Abstract: under 200 words
- Citation style: OSCOLA 4th edition
- Similarity index: below 15%
- No AI use permitted
- Original, unpublished work only
- Copyright vests with UNESCO Chair for Clean Sports
Formatting Guidelines
- Use initial capitals for all words except prepositions/articles
- Headings: 1. First Order | 1.1 Second Order | 1.1.1 Third Order
