Acropolis Trial Advocacy Competition 2026 at Acropolis Institute of Law, Indore 

About the Organisers

In the field of professional education based in Indore at central Part of India. Established in the Year of 2005, we are among the top institutes in Madhya Pradesh, with 22,000+ students actively studying in the field of Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Law.

The Acropolis Institute of Law is approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, M.P. Since its inception, we have been focusing on quality education for the students with the support of qualified and experienced faculty. Our Law Program aims to add new dimensions to legal education and to provide an environment for innovation in the legal field.

Event Details

The mode of the competition is hybrid- Prelims & Quarter finals will be held online. Semi final and finals will be held offline.

  • The language of the competition will be English.
  • The competition shall comprise the following rounds:
    • Two Preliminary Rounds
    • Quarter Final Round
    • Semi-Final
    • Final
  • The quarter-final round shall be held, subject to the number of participants.
  • There will be no researcher’s test.
  • If the team qualifies for advanced rounds, then the teams shall also submit three (3) hard copies of the memorial in spiral binding from both sides on the day of the competition.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B., a 5-Year Integrated LL.B. degree from colleges recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.
  • Team Size: Each team must consist of a maximum of 4 members: 2 Speakers and 2 Witnesses.
  • Best Speaker Award: To be eligible for this award, a participant must act as a Speaker in all four rounds (Preliminary I, Preliminary II, Quarter, Semi-Final, and Final).
  • Substitution: Member substitutions are only permitted with prior approval from the organisers.
  • Language: The entire competition, including written and oral arguments, will be conducted in English.

  • Clarifications Deadline: 30 June, 2026
  • Last Date for Registration: 5 July, 2026
  • Submission of Memorials: 13 July, 2026
  • Preliminary Round 1 & 2, Quarter-Final: 16 -17 July, 2026
  • Semi-Final, Finals & Valedictory: 31 July, 2026
