About the Role
The firm is hiring a Junior IP Associate to handle end-to-end intellectual property matters, including prosecution, litigation, and advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining clients’ Intellectual Property portfolios
- Handling prosecution, opposition, and enforcement matters relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs
- Drafting and filing trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications
- Preparing and filing prosecution amendments, oppositions, rectifications, and other submissions before the concerned authorities
- Conducting trademark searches and legal research
- Appearing before Registrars / Examiners for hearings
- Drafting pleadings, evidence, legal opinions, and arguments in IP litigation matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP agreements and related legal documents
- Managing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and databases efficiently
· Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. / LL.M. degree
- Experience in IP law (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Trademark
- Copyright
- Patent & Design laws
- Experience in international filings (bonus)
- Strong research and drafting skills
