About the Organisation

The Office of Ms. Shubhra Parashar, Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India before the Delhi High Court, is inviting applications from law students for an internship opportunity.

Ms. Shubhra Parashar is an advocate with over 26 years of professional experience in the legal field. The internship will provide practical exposure to litigation, legal research, and drafting in matters before the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and the Delhi High Court.

About the Internship

The internship is intended for dedicated and motivated law students who can commit to a minimum period of two months. Interns will gain practical experience in court-related work, legal drafting, and the preparation of pleadings and other legal documents.

Candidates should be willing to learn, demonstrate professional discipline, and commit to the required internship duration.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing a three-year LL.B. or five-year integrated law course.
• Candidates must be available for a minimum of two months.
• Good legal research, drafting, and communication skills will be an advantage.

Work Profile and Responsibilities

Selected interns will assist the Senior Panel Counsel with matters before the Central Administrative Tribunal and the Delhi High Court. Their responsibilities may include drafting and preparing replies, counter-affidavits, applications, and other legal documents; conducting legal research and identifying relevant statutory provisions and judicial precedents; preparing case briefs, notes, and supporting documents; organising case files; and assisting with other litigation-related work as assigned.

Duration

The minimum expected commitment is two months.

Mode and Location

The internship is offline and office-based. The internship will be based at Patiala House Court, New Delhi, India.
