About the Organiser

The Birla School of Law (BSOL) under Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar was established in 2018, aiming to be a premier destination for aspiring new-generation lawyers.

About the Competition

The 3rd Edition of the National Level Moot Court Competition is organised to honor the late founders, B K Birla and Late Sarala Birla. The competition will take place on 9, 10 and 24 October 2026.

Competition Structure

  • Preliminary & Quarter Final rounds: Online on 9 & 10 October 2026
  • Semi Final & Final rounds: Offline on 24 October 2026 at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar

Eligibility

  • Students enrolled in three-year or five-year integrated law degree courses from any recognised University, Law School, College, or Department are eligible.
  • Multiple teams from the same institution are allowed to participate.

Registration Details

  • Non-refundable registration fee: ₹2,000 payable via QR code or account transfer.
  • Interested teams must submit a scanned copy of Annexure-A (Registration Form) and payment receipt via email to bsolmcc@bgu.ac.in.

  • Inaugural Ceremony: 9 October 2026, 10:30 AM
  • Preliminary Round (Online): 9 October 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards
  • Quarter Final Round (Online): 10 October 2026
  • Researchers’ Test (Online): 10 October 2026
  • Semi-Final Rounds (Offline): 24 October 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards
  • Final Round (Offline): 24 October 2026 from 2:30 PM onwards
  • Result Declaration and Trophy Distribution: 25 October 2026 from 4:30 PM onwards

Prize Details

  • Winning Team: Trophy and prize worth ₹20,000
  • Runners-up: Trophy and prize worth ₹15,000
  • Best Memorial: Trophy and prize worth ₹10,000
  • Best Researcher: Trophy and prize worth ₹5,000
  • Best Speaker: Trophy and prize worth ₹5,000

  • Format: Hybrid (Online for preliminary and quarter-finals; Offline for semi-finals and finals)
