About the Competition

The Surana & Surana and Kalinga University have aimed to conduct the Human Rights Law Moot Court Competition to create opportunities for learning and facilitating the development of jurisprudence in the emerging field, offering a forum for discussions on developments in Human Rights law, in addition to fostering the development of cutting-edge skills in research, writing, and advocacy.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all students, currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree in law, i.e., 3 Year LL.B. program or 5 Year LL.B. program, enrolled regularly in an Undergraduate law course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized institution. One team per university/institution shall be eligible to participate.

Team Composition

Each team shall consist of a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of three (3) members, comprising two Speakers and one Researcher. A team of three members (3) must designate any two members as the speakers. Each team shall designate one member as the Primary Contact Person.
