At AK & Partners, our Associates work on live matters from day one — drafting SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, and term sheets; conducting due diligence on regulated entities; researching RBI, FEMA, SEBI, and Companies Act questions; and supporting the execution and closing of corporate transactions.

About the Opportunity

AK & Partners has opened up applications for the positions of Associates for their General Corporate, M&A, and Regulatory teams. Three of them. And we mean it when we say this is a transactional role.

This is not a research-and-memo role. You will have direct client exposure under partner supervision from the start.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience, but only in corporate advisory, M&A, agreement drafting, or financial regulatory compliance at a law firm.
• Experience in litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolution, however strong, does not qualify for this role. We do not hire freshers for this role. We are not being unkind — we are being clear, because it saves everyone’s time.

• Exposure to financial services regulation is an advantage. The drive to build depth in a specialist practice is non-negotiable.
