About the Organization

Established in 2020, Vignan Institute of Law (VIL) is a premier constituent institution of Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research (VFSTR), approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

VIL’s mission is to advance legal knowledge and nurture professionals equipped for advocacy, legislation, and judicial reform.

Vignan Institute of Law offers 5-year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA., LL.B.(Hons.) Degree Programmes since its inception with an intake capacity of 60 students each for B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA., LL.B. (Hons.).

VIL also offers a Ph.D. (Law) Program and an LLM (2 Years) Course with Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, and Intellectual Property Rights Specializations, with an intake capacity of 40 students.

Vignan Institute of Law operates specialized student-led committees, including a Pro Bono Committee, Digital Media Committee, and Moot Court Committee, to promote leadership and professional skills, among many more.

Vignan Institute of Law implements strict anti-ragging measures in compliance with UGC and BCI norms to ensure a safe, inclusive, and zero-tolerance campus environment. Vignan Institute of Law encourages research through specialized workshops and encourages student participation in international conferences.

Programs are designed to create socially conscious and empathetic lawyers, focusing on values, constitutional awareness, and community outreach.

About the Opportunity

Vignan Institute of Law (VIL) is organising Lex Fiesta 2026, the 1^st edition of our National Law fest aimed at fostering Legal acumen, competitive spirit, and holistic development among students across the country.

As a part of the fest, various sports competitions are being conducted alongside academic events to encourage overall development and engagement.

Theme

Promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and holistic development among law students.

Eligibility

Students currently enrolled in UG (5-years, 3-years) /PG courses in recognised law colleges/ institutions across India are eligible to participate.

Registration Fees

Rs. 150/- per person participating.

Cash Prizes

• Cricket (Men’s Category): Total Prize Pool Worth – Rs. 40,000/-
• Throwball (Women’s Category): Total Prize Pool Worth – Rs. 20,000/-
