About the Role
Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company is hiring an Area Legal Manager (ALM) to handle litigation, recovery, and legal operations within its regional business.
Location
Latur / Solapur (Local candidates preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Managing civil and criminal litigation matters.
- Coordinating with external advocates and attending court proceedings.
- Handling recovery matters and enforcement actions.
- Managing arbitration and compliance-related work.
- Filing execution petitions (EP) and handling proceedings under Section 25 of PASA.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with Bar Council (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- NBFC / Banking sector, or
- Corporate legal role, or
- Litigation practice.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of arbitration law, civil & criminal procedures.
- Experience in EP filings and recovery processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle clients, vendors, and external.
