The event is a premier collaborative initiative between Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and the R.N. Mittal Memorial Trust.
- Law Centre-I: Established in 1970, it is a leading global institution for legal education, distinguished by its commitment to clinical legal pedagogy and extensive pro bono initiatives.
- R.N. Mittal Memorial Trust: Founded to honor the legacy of the late Senior Advocate Shri R.N. Mittal, the Trust is dedicated to preserving his vision of legal integrity, professional excellence, and public service.
Details of the Event
The competition centers on a sophisticated moot proposition involving a real estate dispute with multi-dimensional legal overlaps.
- Key Themes: Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and emerging jurisprudence surrounding Celebrity Personality Rights.
- Competition Structure:
- Preliminary Rounds: Teams will argue for both Claimant and Respondent.
- Knockout Stages: Progression through Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Grand Final.
- Researchers’ Test: A specialized 20-mark evaluation to assess the depth of legal research.
Eligibility and Team Composition
- Eligibility: Open to all law colleges and institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) offering 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses.
- Team Structure: Teams must comprise a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members (2 Speakers and 1 optional Researcher).

The competition will be held in Offline Mode at:
Law Centre-I, Umang Bhawan, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Chhatra Marg, Delhi – 110007.
