Logo Design Competition 2026 by DPIIT IPR Chair, NLU-Bhopal

About the DPIIT IPR CHAIR

The DPIIT IPR Chair at National Law Institute University, Bhopal, is established under the aegis of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Government of India.

The Chair aims to promote advanced research, awareness, and capacity building in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), thereby fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy development.

About the Competition

The DPIIT IPR Chair, NLIU Bhopal, invites creative minds to design an official logo that reflects:

  • Innovation & Creativity
  • Intellectual Property & Legal Excellence
  • Research & Academic Leadership
  • National Development & Entrepreneurship

This logo will represent the DPIIT IPR Chair at NLIU in all official communications, publications, events, and outreach initiatives.

Who can Participate?

  • Students, Designers, Legal Professionals & Creative Professionals from any industry;
  • Up to 2 Participants in a Single Entry.

Design Guidelines

Participants must ensure that:

  • The logo is original and unpublished.
  • It symbolizes Intellectual Property (Patents, Copyright, Trademarks, Designs, GI, Integrated Circuits).
  • It reflects academic integrity and institutional excellence.
  • It is scalable and adaptable (usable in print, digital, and merchandise).
  • It should be submitted in high-resolution format (PNG) along with a PDF of the same.

Mandatory elements include:

  • DPIIT and NLIU reference
  • Academic symbolism
    • Modern, minimalistic, funky, pop, futuristic, or a mix of any or all design aesthetics.

Prizes and Recognition

The winner will receive:

  • Certificate of Achievement
  • Cash Prize of Rs. 10000
  • Official recognition on the NLIU-DPIIT IPR Chair platform
  • Logo adoption as the official insignia

Intellectual Property & Rights

  • The selected logo shall become the exclusive intellectual property of the DPIIT IPR Chair, NLIU Bhopal.
  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the winning design for official usage.
  • Plagiarized or AI-generated unoriginal submissions will be disqualified.

Submission Details

To submit, please complete the attached Google Form. Each submission must include the logo design and a brief concept note (100–300 words) explaining the logo, in a single Word document, for evaluation. This is in addition to the submission of the logo in PDF and image format.

Deadline

The last date to submit your respective entries is 15 April 2026.
