About the Event
DRISHTIKON 2026 is a Crime Scene Investigation Competition that will enhance investigative skills, legal acumen, and strategic thinking in the fields of criminal law, forensic science, and strategic thinking. The competition will provide a significant experience where investigation meets intellect.

Rules & Regulations
- All participants are required to carry their own writing and drawing tools and an exam board (one per team). Participants shall be directed to the crime scene once they get acquainted with the plot.
- Each team comprising three participants shall be given a maximum of 10 minutes to investigate the crime scene and jot down relevant points. Teams can make rough sketches or graphs for their convenience during this time.
- Participants can analyze the crime scene and physical evidence through observation. The team shall be required to record the observation in a given sheet by the Organizing Committee and submit the investigation report.
- The team shall be required to hypothesize the best possible story behind the incident and conclude the guilt of the suspect/s with reasons.
- Mishandling/disturbing the crime scene property or communicating with participants of other teams during the competition shall lead to disqualification. Participants are not allowed to touch or pick anything from the crime scene.
