About the Role
Tata Capital Limited is inviting online applications for the position of Manager (Legal). The role involves handling legal matters related to real estate financing, providing advisory support to business teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate / LL.B.
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of banking, financial, and corporate laws, including RBI guidelines, Companies Act, Contract Act, Arbitration Act, RERA, etc.
- Good understanding of the Transfer of Property Actand related property laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience in the legal field.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft and vet legal documentation related to real estate project financing, including loan origination, acquisition from other lenders, and related transactions.
- Provide legal advice, opinions, and ongoing legal support to business teams to help complete lending transactions and support business objectives.
- Research and analyse laws, policies, and key judicial decisions related to real estate and construction finance, and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Conduct legal training sessions for internal teams and respond to legal queries.
- Periodically review live and disbursed cases to identify and rectify legal or documentation gaps.
- Coordinate with external law firms regarding transaction structuring, documentation, and legal advisory.
