About the Role
The Executive – Litigation will support the organization’s litigation and dispute resolution functions. The role involves assisting in legal proceedings, managing litigation documentation, coordinating with external legal counsel, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The position also plays a key role in maintaining legal records and supporting the company’s risk mitigation strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Assist in managing litigation matters and safeguarding the organization’s legal interests
- Coordinate with external advocates and solicitors for effective handling of disputes
- Support legal representation in court proceedings, arbitration, and conciliation matters
- Track ongoing litigation and provide regular updates to senior management
- Assist in implementing dispute resolution strategies, including arbitration and conciliation mechanisms
Legal Operations & Compliance
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts, agreements, indemnity bonds, and correspondence, with specific focus on real estate matters
- Ensure all legal documentation complies with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Conduct detailed legal research to support drafting and provide sound legal opinions
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect and finalize information for legal documentation
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks through careful drafting and review
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on drafting-related issues
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, case law, and best practices
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of RERA and the real estate sector to ensure regulatory compliance
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.)
- Work Experience: 4–8 years of post-qualification experience
- Preferred Experience: Litigation management experience in the real estate or construction sector, with strong exposure to dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal frameworks
