Theme
The 2026 edition is themed “Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights.” The problem engages participants with complex questions of accountability arising from AI-driven interactions, the protection of children and vulnerable users, personality and publicity rights in the digital sphere, and the cross-border enforcement of intellectual property. It invites nuanced arguments on the constitutional responsibilities of the State in regulating emerging technologies while balancing innovation with fundamental rights.
Eligibility
- Participation is open exclusively to students enrolled in a three-year or five-year LL.B. programme during the current academic year at any recognized Institution.
- Each Institution is permitted to send upto two teams to participate in the competition.
- Inter-Institutional teams are strictly prohibited. All team members must belong to the same Institution.
