About the Organisers
Panchayat Resolution Centre (PRC) – a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening the Grassroot Dispute Resolution Ecosystem in India. Despite over 900 million people living across more than 6.5 lakh villages in our country, there remains a critical gap – the absence of a dedicated community mechanism to promote Legal Aid and Mediation at the village level.
This gap often leads to delayed justice, social disharmony, and overburdened courts. The PRC was born from the belief that justice should not be a privilege, but a right accessible to every citizen, in every village. Our mission is to empower Panchayats as local justice centres, and our vision is to ensure fair, affordable, and accessible justice for all – where every dispute finds resolution through dialogue, empathy, and community participation.
