About the Job
If you’re an early-career legal or tax professional driven by research, data, and institutional reform, this is an opportunity to meaningfully impact India’s direct tax ecosystem.
Eligibility
- 0–2 years of experience in tax, legal research, or policy
- Strong writing, analytical & organisational skills
- Interest in data, public institutions & systemic reform
- LLB/LLM/CA (Master’s in Public Policy is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on litigation, assessments & dispute resolution
- Analyse pendency, disposal patterns & tax data
- Support stakeholder workshops, roundtables & consultations
- Draft policy briefs, blogs, and case studies
- Work closely with veterans from the Income Tax Department
