NUJS presents the 8th International Mediation Competition 2026, scheduled in February in hybrid mode. A premier ADR competition for law students. Register by January 2.
About NUJS
NUJS is considered as one of the premier national law schools in India, built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India.
The university offers a five-year integrated B.A./BSc. LLB (Hons.) degree programme at the undergraduate level and a Master of Laws (LLM) programme at the postgraduate level.
About the Competition
The NUJS ADR Society is delighted to invite registrations for the 8th International Mediation Competition, a premier platform aimed at fostering excellence in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
The Competition will be conducted in two stages:
- Preliminary Rounds (Online): 1st February
- Advanced Rounds (Offline): 28th February – 1st March
The Competition seeks to provide participants with practical exposure to mediation, encouraging a nuanced understanding of negotiation, collaborative problem-solving, and effective dispute resolution in complex legal and commercial settings.
We look forward to welcoming teams from diverse jurisdictions to engage in rigorous mediation rounds and meaningful discourse.
Who is it for?
- Eligibility is extended to all students who are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree in law at an accredited university.
- Both the counsel and the client are required to be affiliated with the same university.
- Cross-institutional registration is allowed.

- 5th Jan 2026: Confirmation of Team Slot
- 12th Jan 2026: Last Date for Payment of Registration Fee

- 28th Feb 1st March 2026: Advanced Rounds (Offline)
