About Victor Dantas Law College

Established in 2008, the Victor Dantas Law College is a prestigious institution under the Victor Dantas Charitable and Education Foundation, approved by the Government of Maharashtra, the Bar Council of India, and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

About the Opportunity

Victor Dantas Law College has been organizing Moot Court Competitions for the past four years at regional and state levels. With increasing focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, the college successfully organized its First National Level Mediation, Client Counselling, and Letter to CJI Competition in 2024–25, attracting over 40 teams nationwide.

The 2nd edition will be conducted in hybrid mode, with preliminary rounds online and final rounds offline at the college campus.

Eligibility

Client Counselling Competition:

Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. during academic year 2025–26.

Mediation Competition:

Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. during academic year 2025–26.

Letter to Chief Justice of India Competition:

Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. during academic year 2025–26.

Registration Fee

Client Counselling + Mediation (Combined): Rs. 3,000 per team

Letter to Chief Justice of India: Rs. 800 per team
