ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, acknowledged as one of the best law colleges in India, was established in the year 2010. The institute is located in the Himalayas, offering 5-year & 3-year Integrated Law Degrees, 2-year LL.M., and MA in Public Administration & Governance. It is affiliated to the University of North Bengal, NAAC-accredited, recognized by the Bar Council of India, and approved by UGC under Sections 2(f) & 12(B).

ABOUT THE JOURNAL

IILS Law Review (ISSN 2320-5318) is a peer‑reviewed journal known for original ideas and academic integrity. Volume XII, Issue 1 (March 2026) invites scholarly contributions focusing on various legal and socio‑legal issues. Submissions accepted: Articles, Notes, Comments, Book Reviews.

NATURE OF CONTRIBUTIONS

• Articles: 4,000–6,000 words; comprehensive legal analysis.

• Notes: Max 2,500 words; focused on emerging debates/issues.

• Comments: Max 2,500 words; critique on judgments/legislation.

• Book Review: 1,800–2,000 words; critical evaluation.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Last Date for Full Paper Submission (with abstract): 25 December 2025

• Intimation of Selection: 10 February 2026
