JuristQuest 2025 – India’s 1st Moot Court Marathon

About Organisation

JuristQuest is India’s premier moot court competition, providing law students with a platform to refine their advocacy, legal research, and courtroom skills. Conceptualized by Crosby Law Associates in association with the Secretary of Madras High Court Advocates Association, it bridges academic learning with real-world legal practice through high-level competitions, workshops, and interactions with global legal experts. The 2025 edition celebrates 75 years of the Indian Constitution by honouring the legendary Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer.

About the Opportunity

JuristQuest 2025-26 is India’s first-ever Moot Court Marathon, scheduled from December 13th, 2025, to January 31st, 2026. Teams may present arguments in regional languages (Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu & Hindi) until the quarterfinals. The semifinals and finals will be conducted in English. The finals will be held in Chennai on January 31st, 2026. The competition will be conducted in hybrid mode – online for preliminary to semifinal rounds and onsite for the finals.

Eligibility

Open to all 3-year or 5-year LL.B students from institutions across India. Teams can include 2 speakers and 1 researcher. A researcher cannot argue. Teams may use regional languages up to the quarterfinals. Multiple teams per institution are allowed.

Registration Fee

₹1,000 per team for government and government-aided law colleges.
₹2,000 per team for private institutions.
Includes access to JuristQuest Web Portal. No refunds post-registration.

2. Fill out the online registration form with team and college details.
3. Upload the payment receipt after successful fee payment.
4. Confirmation mail will be sent within 48 hours.
